Denise,
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Wolf Charmer by Lola Glass, the second book in the Rejected Mate Refuge trilogy。 I love that this read picks up where the last book leaves us。 The trauma of being a rejected mate is slightly mitigated by the rejected mate developing a gift。 Cara's gift is being able to calm rabid wolves, which is important in helping the wolves at the Refuge。 Just when Cara is beginning to recover after the fight club and her scheming ex-mate, life takes another left turn。 Knox, S This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Wolf Charmer by Lola Glass, the second book in the Rejected Mate Refuge trilogy。 I love that this read picks up where the last book leaves us。 The trauma of being a rejected mate is slightly mitigated by the rejected mate developing a gift。 Cara's gift is being able to calm rabid wolves, which is important in helping the wolves at the Refuge。 Just when Cara is beginning to recover after the fight club and her scheming ex-mate, life takes another left turn。 Knox, Shadow, Rhyker and the rest of the wolves at the refuge are starting to settle down when trouble come calling again。 Lots of action, drama and angst make this a hard read to put down。 There is no resolution, but there is a mighty set up for the third book in that amazing trilogy! This honest and voluntary review was made possible by obtaining a copy through Booksprout。 。。。more
Mrs。 Jamie Christie,
I feel like this book was one of the best written。 That says a lot because I love all her books。 I feel like it dove into the truth of the terrifying battle we must face when we take a life。 Something that the hunger games books does well to capture too。 A lot of books want to just bury it and forget we are human。 I also love the two main characters the storyline is well developed and their relationship is just pure。 Ashley you meet in this book along with Knox’s family she’s horrible don’t like I feel like this book was one of the best written。 That says a lot because I love all her books。 I feel like it dove into the truth of the terrifying battle we must face when we take a life。 Something that the hunger games books does well to capture too。 A lot of books want to just bury it and forget we are human。 I also love the two main characters the storyline is well developed and their relationship is just pure。 Ashley you meet in this book along with Knox’s family she’s horrible don’t like them。 Also I dislike her family the most what the actual heck is their problem they are a disgrace and when they are in danger and come calling they better be thankful that she has a kind soul。 That also proves it more too cara has strength and also the ability to kill but her greatest strength is her heart。 Read this series。 The only problem is the cliffhanger ending…。 。。。more

💚💜💛💙OMMFG I'm obsessed with this series and I cannot wait for the next book to come out!! Cara has been through some crazy💩 and is slowly healing with the help of her Ko/ Knox, he is amazing。 Also, she is growing into her self and gaining a pack of rabids that will give her the love, understanding, and support that seems to be missing from their society。 💚💜💛💙OMMFG I'm obsessed with this series and I cannot wait for the next book to come out!! This series is soo cute。 I Love Cara and Knox! I love the idea of a rejected shifter community and the rejected gifts and can't wait to see where this story leads。 BTW, the bonus epilogue at the end is a must read! Melanie Mcclure,
This series was so different from the others that Lola has written。 Once I finished the first book, I knew it was my new favorite。 I loved watching Cara and Knox getting closer and their relationship grow。 I also liked watching the rejected wolves reverting back to their humans and interacting with their new pack。 I’m really looking forward to the next book to see what direction the story goes。 Awesome job!
Jess Ostrander,
I think I start literally every Lola Glass review by saying it's my new favorite。。。 but that keeps being true!! I adore this series。 This was a great continuation of book one, and we got so much more of Knox and Cara's relationship growth! I loved seeing Cara learn to rely on her new pack and start to work on the trauma of what she's been through。 There's some tough things that happen in this book, but overall, this was more about the development between Cara and Knox。 I loved the way they fit t I think I start literally every Lola Glass review by saying it's my new favorite。。。 but that keeps being true!! ***CLIFFHANGER******Trigger warnings: violence, abuse, including domestic abuse, and abandonment on page***Please note that you really do need to have read the first story for this one to make sense。 I find this author’s writing complex and engaging, detailed and energetic, and deeply emotionally moving。 This story continued to cover many complex aspects of the challenges now facing the main characters whilst introducing a new bad guy for them to pursue。 The story is female lead POV only, though ***CLIFFHANGER******Trigger warnings: violence, abuse, including domestic abuse, and abandonment on page***Please note that you really do need to have read the first story for this one to make sense。 I find this author’s writing complex and engaging, detailed and energetic, and deeply emotionally moving。 This story continued to cover many complex aspects of the challenges now facing the main characters whilst introducing a new bad guy for them to pursue。 The story is female lead POV only, though the epilogue is male lead only。 I prefer dual POV。 The story is well written, and ends again on a cliffhanger。 Just waiting for the next one。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

Healing Great follow up to book 1。 The protagonist goes through the beginning stages of healing in this book and the author captures that so well。 It definitely isn’t this straightforward line with clear stages, but instead, is a zig zag back and forth where even the one healing isn’t sure at times she is getting better。 That’s what made it so accurate and good。

This story continues into Clara's healing process in this one。Knox turns out to be everything she needs right now and she slowly comes out of the pain。。I enjoyed all the other characters who seem to add more joy around Clara。It was such a sensitive book and it was hard to read sometimes。I didn't predict that conclusion and now I really cant wait to know more! Bella Suarez-Ramirez,
The storyline continues as Cara try’s to find a way to move on in this book。 I enjoyed it because it felt like it was a good blend of her trying to get over what happened in book one。 I love Knox。 He is everything that Cara needs。 The ending was not something I expected。 It definitely threw me off in the storyline。 I can’t wait to see what happens next in the next book。 Seeing how strong Cara is how she is with her pack is beautifully done。 Enjoyed this。 *** received ARC for my honest review ***
Maddye,
Finished this one in a sitting; it was fast paced and easy to fly through。I enjoyed reading about Cara’s healing journey and I adore the side characters with their different personalities and elements they bring to the story。The story was a bit repetitive by means of the day to day routines and, despite the journey of healing from her trauma, I didn’t quite understand what Cara’s aversion to eating was so I couldn’t really sympathise with that。 I did get a bit annoyed with Cara’s blasé thoughts Finished this one in a sitting; it was fast paced and easy to fly through。I enjoyed reading about Cara’s healing journey and I adore the side characters with their different personalities and elements they bring to the story。The story was a bit repetitive by means of the day to day routines and, despite the journey of healing from her trauma, I didn’t quite understand what Cara’s aversion to eating was so I couldn’t really sympathise with that。 I did get a bit annoyed with Cara’s blasé thoughts towards Knox and I feel that a few of the snippets trying to bring humour into the story weren’t needed as there’s a lot of dark themes; to explore those themes properly and give them the attention they deserve, sometimes there’s literally no way or need to bring humour into it, and for me, it took away from the genuineness of the healing journey in a few places。 。。。more

I know I have said this before with Lola's books, but I love the leading characters of this one! 🥰 Knox is the perfect werewolf boyfriend 😍。 The side characters even have me loving them。 This series has had non-stop go from the beginning and continues to keep me on my toes。 I can't wait for the conclusion of this series, but I'm also a little sad for it to end。 I know I have said this before with Lola's books, but I love the leading characters of this one! 🥰 Knox is the perfect werewolf boyfriend 😍。 The side characters even have me loving them。 This series has had non-stop go from the beginning and continues to keep me on my toes。 I can't wait for the conclusion of this series, but I'm also a little sad for it to end。 。。。more
